Code of Conduct

How we build, and who we build with.

Manta is a hardware brand, and hardware is made by people. This Code of Conduct sets out the standards we hold ourselves and our manufacturing partners to — covering labour, safety, the environment, and how we do business.

Last updated: June 2026

1

Fair and safe working conditions

Every Manta product must be made in facilities that treat workers fairly and keep them safe. We expect our manufacturing partners to provide safe equipment and premises, reasonable working hours, and a workplace free from harassment and discrimination.

2

No forced or child labour

We have zero tolerance for forced, bonded, or involuntary labour, and for child labour. Every worker must be there by choice and meet the legal minimum working age in their country.

3

Fair pay

Workers who build Manta products must be paid at least the legal minimum wage, on time, with any overtime compensated as required by law.

4

Environmental responsibility

We expect partners to meet local environmental laws, manage waste and hazardous materials responsibly, and work with us to reduce the footprint of our packaging and products over time.

5

Honest business and anti-corruption

We don't offer or accept bribes, kickbacks, or improper payments. We expect the same from our partners, and we verify the companies we work with before any money changes hands.

6

Verification and transparency

Before we place an order, we verify our suppliers' legitimacy and ask for the certifications our products require. We expect partners to allow reasonable checks and to be honest about how and where our products are made.

7

Honest marketing

We tell the truth about what Manta can and can't do — including its technical limitations. We don't make claims we can't stand behind.

8

Privacy and data

We respect the privacy of our customers and only collect the data we need to run our business, handled in line with our Privacy Policy.

We don't work with partners who can't meet these standards. If a supplier won't allow verification, or falls short and won't improve, we walk away.

Reporting a concern

If you believe a Manta partner or team member has broken this Code, tell us in confidence at conduct@usemanta.co. We review every report and we don't tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.
